Lightspeed order picking software — connect Lightspeed to OrderPiQR

Selling through Lightspeed eCom or Lightspeed Retail? Let your orders flow into OrderPiQR and pick them with barcode verification — no packing slips, no handheld terminals.

Strong at the counter, quiet in the stockroom

Lightspeed is built for selling — across the counter, through the web store, and ideally both at once. What happens in your stockroom afterwards falls outside that scope. For retailers who have moved online, that is exactly where the friction sits.

Shop staff pick web orders in between customers. Someone prints an order list, walks the stockroom or the shop floor and ticks items off on paper. With a few orders a day that works. At dozens of orders a day, with several colleagues picking at the same time, it becomes guesswork who is working on what and which size actually went into the box.

OrderPiQR replaces that with a digital picking queue. Orders from Lightspeed arrive as pick lists with items, quantities and warehouse locations. Your employee opens the queue on their phone, claims an order and scans each item. A wrong variant is flagged immediately, and the order is only complete once every line matches.

For the floor, little changes: no app to install, no device to learn. The browser opens and the work is waiting. For you, something does change — you see live how many orders are open, who is picking and where lead times start to slip.

What the Lightspeed integration gives you

Web orders in a proper queue

No more loose lists beside the till. Every order sits in the same queue, so nobody picks the same order twice and nothing gets forgotten.

Scanning instead of guessing

OrderPiQR uses the barcodes already stored on your Lightspeed items for verification. Size, colour and variant get checked, not assumed.

Visibility on warehouse stock

Record locations per item and let every pick update the count. You see what is genuinely in your stockroom, separate from what is on the shop floor.

Staff who get it immediately

Temporary staff and shop employees are up to speed in minutes. The app guides them step by step, so onboarding no longer eats half a shift.

Frequently asked questions about the Lightspeed integration

Lightspeed offers an API for both eCom and Retail. You generate API credentials in your Lightspeed environment and connect them to OrderPiQR, or you build the connection through Zapier, Make or n8n. To try things out first, import your items and orders from CSV.

Yes. OrderPiQR is channel-agnostic: it makes no difference whether an order comes from your online store or from an in-store sale. As long as the order lines arrive with an item number and a quantity, your team can pick them.

In OrderPiQR you record warehouse locations per item and see current stock based on what has actually been picked. That tells you what is in your warehouse, independent of what is sitting on the shop floor.

It works best with barcodes, because then the system verifies every pick. If an item has no barcode, your employee can check it off manually. You do not have to label your entire assortment before you can start.

Most customers pick their first order within a day. You create an account, import your items and configure the connection. Nothing needs installing on the floor because OrderPiQR runs in the browser.
